Aaron French
Aaron French, co-founder and owner of Sydney Leather, began his journey in 2016 by focusing on premium leather goods. A self-taught craftsman, he learned through YouTube tutorials and immersive studies of leather craft techniques, drawing inspiration from his background in bushcraft and outdoor activities.
Santosh Khaniya
Santosh Khaniya, co-founder and owner of Sydney Leather, is a visionary of custom bag design inspired by vintage styles. He began crafting his products in 2016 after realising the market lacked his desired options. This entrepreneurial spark led him to learn leatherworking through experimentation and online tutorials, resulting in unique custom bags that gained recognition.
In 2018, while pursuing his master's degree in Australia, Santosh met Aaron French and found they shared a common vision. Together, they co-founded Sydney Leather to create premium leather and canvas products that embody the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
